Files submitted to this analyzer are sent over HTTPS to the Jarscanner scanning service and analyzed as data, without executing their code. Aggregate scan, verdict, and detected-family counters are stored.
Website JAR submissions, including JARs fetched from download links, are automatically eligible for forwarding after a successful scan when Discord forwarding is enabled. The complete original JAR, filename, SHA-256 hash, verdict, and detected families are sent to the server for security research and sample collection. By submitting a JAR you agree to this processing and third-party transfer.
For JAR files, the browser may send the file's SHA-1 hash to Modrinth to identify a matching published version. The JAR itself is not sent to Modrinth.
